What it is
The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is a visual art and creative writing competition for students in grades 7 through 12 in the US. You enter on one of two tracks. The art side takes work like painting, photography, design, and sculpture. The writing side takes poetry, short stories, and essays. Judging runs in two rounds: your work is judged in your region first, and only the pieces that get picked there move on to national judging.
